Elena Baseman is the owner and designer of Elena Michele, LLC which is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She started this company in 2015 when she made the decision to make a dream a reality. Elena studied Fashion Design at Indiana University in Bloomington and spent many years after graduation trying to figure out who she was and what she wanted to do. Elena always knew her passion and purpose was to design and create and also help and inspire others. This is exactly the mission for “Elena Michele” jewelry.

CROCHET ARTIST

Bekah is a stay-at-home mom who has been crocheting for over 20 years, first starting at just 12 years old. When learning how to do a few basic stitches from her grandmother, she was "hooked" and became a self-taught crochet artist. Now she owns her own crochet business, Fit To Be Hooked Crochet, turning from a hobbyist to a professional crochet artist. From scarves and hats to custom baby blankets and keepsake stuffed animals, she puts her heart into every stitch. She enjoys sharing her love of the craft and teaching others, and can't wait to share it with you!

NUTRITIONIST AND HEALTH & WELLNESS COACH

Kim is the owner of Honest Health & Wellness, LLC, a licensed Nutritionist, and a Health & Wellness Coach. I have always felt drawn to wanting to take care of others and luckily was able to find my purpose through oils.

I have been learning and studying oils for 7 years and am very passionate about being able to share and teach others about holistic health for your mind, body, and soul. With a variety of classes, workshops, and experiences I'm hoping to show and inspire others to start making safe and natural choices for their health and the health of their family.

COOKIE TABLE CREATOR

Jamie has been been "doing cookies" for 14 years. She quit her kindergarten teaching job to take care of her four children and quickly lost herself in the crush of being a mom. Eventually, she started decorating cookies at home just to have something in her life that was 100% hers… and she fell in love. For her, cookies are like an art form… a delicious art form you can eat. And now she wants to show you how to bring your own cookie creations to life, too!

ARTIST

Heidi Coen is a seasoned teacher of 20+ years working with students ranging from Pre-K to post-secondary. She currently works at Westinghouse Art Academy as a studio art teacher. Heidi has her masters in education with a concentration in art from Carlow University. Heidi emphasizes the humanities within her curriculum in the visual arts. She has been involved in Art Expression; an after-school program for diverse students for 8 years. Heidi has also been involved in the Scholastic arts competitions, Congressional arts shows, Walt Whitman’s International Scholarship, and she was runner-up for the champion of learning award in 2017. Heidi seeks to foster real-world applications in the arts and build the skills her students learn into viable careers in the creative field.

FINE ARTIST

Dianne is a retired art teacher from the Montour School District in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She has had a passion for art all of her life but started studying painting seriously over the past 30 years. Dianne has studied under such renowned artists as James Sulkowski, James Douglas Adams, Thomas McNickel, Ron Donoughe, and Nelson Shanks. Her artwork has been in local as well as national art shows winning numerous awards including "Best of Show". She is a member of the Pittsburgh Society of Artists, Western Pennsylvania Plein Air Painters, and belongs to the Cranberry Artist Network. Dianne represented the Pittsburgh Society of Artists at the Three Rivers Arts Festival by having a plein air workshop at the Point.

Dianne loves to travel and paint. She has painted in Monet's Gardens in France, Baja, Mexico, and the Galapagos Islands, as well as numerous other locations.

YOGA

Shawna Weir has been finding joy in creating all of her life. She graduated from Kent State University in 2014 with a fashion design and merchandising degree. Ever since, she’s been creating works of art with many different mediums, specifically fiber and oil paint. She is a self-taught macrame artist at Shawna Loretta Art (since 2017) and creates everything from plant hangers and purses to wall hangings and baby swings. She loves to add extra boho details, like crystals. Shawna, also, is a certified Kundalini Yoga instructor from the Kundalini Research Institute. She has been practicing for 10 years and teaching for 5. Kundalini Yoga is the “yoga of awareness” and has many healing benefits for the mind, body, and soul. It has helped tremendously with her anxiety and depression. Shawna practices Reiki, as well.

PHOTOGRAPHER

Melissa began her art journey as a portrait photographer with her own studio where she added creative classes led by several artists. Melissa also has her work in two local shops. She has taught classes in wood silk screen printing and painting techniques since 2017. Melissa is a Penn State graduate and lives in Oakmont with her two children and Brittany Spaniel and Grace.

COOKIE DECORATOR

Amanda Monnich is the owner of Sprinkled With Love Sweets. She is a self-taught cookie decorator with 3 years of experience teaching you how to decorate beautiful, edible creations. Amanda has honed her skills to create unique and personalized cookies for any occasion.

She started by deciding on a whim to go to a cookie decorating class as a night out with a friend. One evening changed the course of her life. After that class, Amanda practiced when she wasn't at her full time job. When she had her second child, she decided to make the leap and go full time into her cookie business. Now, she loves to teach others during their night out with friends. When Amanda is not in the kitchen, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 kids.
